What can I customize in the cat creator?

Almost every visual detail of your warrior: fur patterns and colors, markings, ears, eyes, tails, and whiskers, plus name and personality traits. The official store description promises deep customization inspired by the book universe — a deliberate nod to a fanbase famous for designing original characters.

Does customization affect gameplay?

No — appearance is cosmetic. What affects gameplay is the choice made alongside it: your Clan (which sets your campaign and combat identity) and the warrior role itself, which is fixed. How does naming work?

Name your cat at creation following the book convention: a prefix describing something about them (appearance, deed, or trait). The game weaves your name into ceremonies and story beats, so lore-conscious names earn extra flavor moments. Your name appears in-game during creation and at rank milestones.

What is the Purrfect Look Pack?

A DLC pack adding exclusive extra options to the creator. It was free with a digital pre-order of either edition (the pre-order window closed on launch day, October 23, 2026), and it is now listed as a separate purchase on digital stores. Don’t confuse it with the Prophecy Pack — that one ships with the Feral Edition and adds 8 cat-creator elements, 12 wearable accessories, a cel-shaded character skin, and photo-mode poses and effects.

Can I change my cat later?

Customization continues beyond creation in one meaningful way: your den. Back at camp you craft and place decorations — bedding, scratching posts, and more from materials you forage. You can also visit friends’ dens asynchronously to show off both your cat and your decoration work.
