How does crafting work?

Explore the Lake Territories and forage the land for materials, then return to your den to craft. The official feature set calls out bedding and scratching posts as craftable staples — items that are both decoration and a reflection of your cat’s personality. Crafting turns exploration loot into a home worth visiting.

What can I craft?

At launch the craftable catalog centers on den life:

• Bedding — your cat’s sleeping spot, with cosmetic variants.
• Scratching posts — functional-flavored decor for the den.
• Decorations — unlockable items earned through play that personalize the space.

New craftables unlock as you progress your campaign and reputation, so your den grows alongside your legend.

Where do materials come from?

Materials are foraged out in the world — gathered while you travel between quests across the four Clans’ territories (forest, marshlands, pine swamps, and moors; see the clans overview for each region’s identity). If you enjoy the collection loop, plan route passes through landmark-dense areas between story beats rather than dedicated farming trips.

Why customize my den?

Two reasons. First, progression: your den is the visible record of your journey. Second, community: asynchronous online den visits let friends drop into your den and see your cat and decoration work — the game’s main way to show off your cat creator design. Visiting others’ dens is also a good source of ideas for your own layout.
